Electric Driving Range

THE RANGE OF YOUR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

The driving range of PEUGEOT vehicles allows you to cover both short and long distances.

In order to ensure a trouble-free experience, you will find all the useful information here: our advice on how to optimise your driving range, our simulation tool widgets and the best practices to adopt.

Rest assured, 1 charge per week will be enough!

OPTIMIZE THE RANGE OF YOUR PEUGEOT VEHICLE

POWER INDICATOR

Your energy consumption is shown in real time on your dashboard to better manage your vehicle's range.

ECO-DRIVE MODE

Eco-driving mode [Engine power reduction and thermal comfort] allows you to maximise your car's range.

REGENERATIVE BRAKING

When you release the throttle [Brake mode is activated by a reverse pulse on the gearbox control and maximises battery charging], the electric motor acts as a generator, slows the vehicle down and charges the battery.

REMOTE E-CONTROLS

From your smartphone, set the thermal pre-conditioning of your passenger compartment [for better comfort while preserving your battery’s range if the vehicle is charging], launch the charge remotely and monitor its progress.

SIMULATE THE RANGE OF YOUR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

In order to guarantee you the best experience with your electric vehicle, PEUGEOT makes these simulators available, with the aim of presenting you with the range values that are closest to your actual use.

This information will be useful and necessary to ensure a pleasant experience in your vehicle.

FACTORS AFFECTING THE RANGE OF YOUR VEHICLE

As with an internal combustion engine vehicle, these factors can affect the range of an electric vehicle:

Load transported

Driving with loads on the roof or with an open window increases wind resistance and therefore fuel consumption. A high load weight will also have an impact on range.

Driving style

Smooth and eco-friendly driving will allow you to maximise your range.

Air-conditioning

Heating and air conditioning can be responsible for 10-30% of your battery consumption.

Relief

When driving uphill, your consumption is increased and impacts your range. On a downhill run, the regenerative braking system gives you more range.
