This new variant is P500,000 cheaper than its GT Line sibling
In a time when local fuel prices are off the charts, Filipinos need their diesel engines, especially for their SUVs. Peugeot Philippines now introduces a new option that can address that necessity with the arrival of the new Peugeot 3008 SUV Active Diesel variant.
“Peugeot is proud to unveil the first stage in its long-term goal of bringing its products to a wider and truly global audience,” says Glen Dasig, president of Peugeot Philippines. “To achieve this, we are making our vehicles more accessible to the market while still providing the same driving experience and comfort found in our current range.”
This newcomer is alike its Peugeot 3008 predecessor, packing the same 2.0-liter BlueHDI turbocharged diesel mill capable of producing 150hp and 370Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels.
Inside, you can find the Peugeot-trademarked i-Cockpit, which provides the driver with better comfort and accessibility via an elevated driving position, a compact steering wheel, and all-digital functions from the cluster gauges to the touchscreen infotainment system. As for the rest of the cabin, the interior features a dark overall color scheme.
“No compromises have been taken in making the Peugeot 3008 SUV Active more attainable,” adds Dasig. The compact SUV comes in three colors—Bianca White, Artense Gray, and an exclusive Nera Black—and is available with a P2,390,000 price tag.
